Gisela is an educator and workshop leader bridging spiritual and scientific principles.
She is a graduate of the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, holding a masters degree in secondary education of physics and chemistry; and an BS in chemical engineering, equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in the US, with majors in physics and chemistry, plus a Master of Science degree in physics and education.
After moving to the US, Gisela took classes in education at St. Vincent college in Latrobe, PA; and in communication-skills and language at the University of Hawaii in Kona on the Big Island.
Gisela has worked as a chemical engineer in Germany, and she taught physics and chemistry as a high school teacher in Germany for more than 11 years.
She began her esoteric studies and the studies of the healing arts with Rev. Ralph Jordan after a life-changing brain surgery 1983 in Germany. She continued her studies with Ralph in PA 1987 and as of 1990 in Hawaii.
She worked as a chemist at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii in Kona for more than 13 years, and besides her work at the lab she finished her studies in therapeutic massage therapy at the Hawaiian Island School of Body Therapies as an in the state of Hawaii licensensed Massage Therapist.
She continued her education of body therapies such as BodyTalk, Craniosacral therapy, Acutonics, Polarity, Matrix Energetics, Somato Emotional Release, Lymph drainage, Reiki, Joint Play, Huna Healing, and she is a certified spiritual healer. She uses her skills as a volunteer with the hospice organization.
After 18 years of studying philosophy and esotericism, she was ordained as a minister of the Ecumenical Church of Light in November 1997, a non-denominational church in Kona which was founded by Rev. Ralph Jordan with the intent to unite the Eastern and Western philosophies, and assist menkind in self-mastery. Gisela is a practicing minster of the church.
In October 2006 she started her studies with Ku, Kahuna Lokahi, and in 2007 she was initiated at her first performance of the Ceremony in Hawaii as a teacher. She was gifted to wear the Kihei.
